Pinche Pinche is a Mexican restaurant in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. Situated on Harrogate Road it is in close proximity to venues such as Casa Mia and Sukothai.
The restaurant is a bright and lively affair with a colour scheme of turquoise, sea blue and tangerine that shouldn’t work, but do. The two orange walls are adorned with framed photographs, stencilling and the face from their logo. The effect is homely and welcoming, adding even more character to a restaurant already packed full of charm.
Simon Heath, owner and Head Chef of Pinche Pinche was inspired to open the restaurant after spending a year working in Mexico City. He was determined to bring the joy of Mexican street food back to Leeds and Pinche Pinche was born. The menu is full to the brim with punchy flavours and classic Mexican dishes. You will be spoilt for choice as the selection of tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tortillas, quesadillas and chimichangas is exceptional. Tuck in to light bites such as Costillas; slow cooked ribs in Pinche’s own orange and roasted tomato marinade and served with a tomatillo-based rib sauce, or go all out with one of the bigger plates. As you would expect, Pinche Pinche also serve a good range of tequilas as well as soft drinks, spirits and beers.
Pinche Pinche is child-friendly and offers a specially designed children’s menu that still gives them a taste of Mexico, without the heat. Simon is happy to alter almost every dish on the menu to suit a child in terms of portion size and heat, which is possible because everything is made fresh to order.
If you are looking for exceptional Mexican food that is prepared by a passionate and skilled chef and served by friendly and attentive staff then look no further than Pinche Pinche Mexican restaurant in Leeds.
