Pascal at the Old Vicarage Restaurant in Staffordshire, Derbyshire
Voted Best Staffordshire restaurant 2007-2008, Pascal at the Old Vicarage is an acclaimed venue, and rightly so with the hard work and dedication Karen and Pascal Arnoux have put in.
The team they have created is top-class with Colin Ansell at the helm, an Egon Ronay star winner for gastro pub 2006. The cuisine offered is Modern British with a French twist including classic dishes such as "12 hour" Slow Roast Packington Pork Belly, through to Truite aux Amandes - grilled whole trout with almonds and herb butter.
The front of house team are extremely friendly and professional and will ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable time. Diners are welcome to make the visit a whole evening affair and enjoy a drink before their meal in the lounge area of the Vicarage or a brandy by the fire afterwards.
Walking through into the restaurant you will be struck by the beautiful soft furnishings and the bright and airy dining area. Bay window and conservatory seating make for an intimate atmosphere and diners are able look out over the immaculate rear garden.
A truly wonderful restaurant that should be savoured, and with regular Rustic French and Traditional English themed evenings, you can be sure a visit to Pascal at the Old Vicarage will not be forgotten.
