Miah’s Kitchen is a recently opened Indian restaurant in the heart of Leeds city centre. Tucked away along York Place and housed within one of the beautiful red bricked buildings it is less than three minutes’ walk from the Leeds rail station making it ideal for visitors and locals alike.
From the moment you step inside you can tell that a lot of care and attention has been put into making the restaurant feel welcoming, classy and trendy. With a neutral brown and white colour palette that is complemented by low, dark brown leather seats there is a sophisticated ambience that encourages guests to relax and get comfortable whilst enjoying the varied and exciting flavours on offer.
Serving up delicious Indian cuisine, Miah’s Kitchen goes above and beyond the menu of a typical Indian eaterie. Of course you can expect to see well-known dishes such as Chicken Dopiaza, Lamb Korma and Prawn Bhuna, but Miah’s really shines in the more unusual dishes. For starters dishes like the Fish Bhaji of succulent cutlets of Bangladeshi fish marinated in Miah’s special sauce and cooked with garlic and onions is perfect, as is the Chicken Pakora which is light, crispy and incredibly moist. The vast selection of mains may leave your head spinning but the incredibly helpful staff are more than happy to explain the dishes to you to make sure you enjoy every aspect of your meal. Why not try the Chicken Tikka Lembu cooked with freshly imported Bangladeshi lemons or, if you’re really up for a challenge, the Tikka Naga which is made using the hottest chili in the world!
Whatever your occasion, Miah’s Kitchen Leeds offers delicious, freshly-prepared Indian cuisine to suit every taste. As everything is made to order the chefs are able to tweak any dish to your preferred level of heat ensuring that every meal is perfect for you.
