The food was lovely, the staff friendly and attentive.

    Lovely food great atmosphere.

    Great meal

Quality food. Good service. Definitely go back again.

    Food fabulous as usual.

Absolutely loved it, food was delish, service spot on will definitely be returning.

We were quite disappointed with the lack of Christmas decorations, as we were celebrating a works Christmas party and the lack of this made it quite ordinary which was a great shame, no crackers no party hats not even a Christmas tree :o( but we did enjoy the Magician if he had not been to the table then it would definitely have just been a very ordinary evening but the food was excellent very tasty and enjoyable.

Good atmosphere and food was of very good quality with speedy polite service. Not cheap but good value. We had a variety of dishes to share and without exception the meat was tender and the sauces very tasty. Good way to end an evening at Highcross cinema next door.

Cannot be beaten. Great staff fantastic curry and very reasonable prices

Great and value for money, food tastes great.

    It was an excellent meal!

Lovely friendly staff, tasty meal great company. Will definitely be going again!

Good value but very average food during lunch time special. You really do get what you pay for with their lunch time deal. You are put in the back room and food is average. I have eaten here a few times in the evening paying full price and you get to sit in the nice part of the restaurant and the food is of much higher quality. Think they are missing an opportunity as the whole point of an offer such as this is to encourage people to go back, I would not of if I hadn't been in the evening previously. Advice to the restaurant would be to give the back room a refurb if your going to use it, a bit of paint and a few nice pictures on the wall wouldn't go a miss, along with a bit more flavour in food in particular the chicken tikka masala, this tasted like chicken tikka with tomato soup! Will go back but it won't be for any kind of lunch time special.

Brilliant service and beautiful food as always. Added attraction of an excellent magician. Not a cheap place to eat but you get what you pay for.

Well presented and tasty food at Memsaab!

Fantastic night at MemSaab yesterday. Some of the nicest and most interesting food I've had in a long while. Staff were very friendly attentive without ever being overbearing. Maybe a little expensive compared to other places but quality costs money. Would highly recommend to fans of Indian food.

Good food and very quick service at Memsaab. We both had chicken shashlick. Chicken was lovely - tender and tasty - but the salad wasn't great. Just carrot and cucumber. Also check your bill. 10% service is included and we've been charged for an additional meal in the past.

Very good food at Memsaab and the service was excellent, just a bit pricey.

Service was excellent. The waiter went out of his way to ensure our meal was perfect and he was very good with my grandson who is 9

    Great night out lovely food

great food. lovely staff very helpfull . will be go again very soon

We have been to MemSaab a few times , but we're disappointed that the food and srvice did not live up to our past experiences especially the service took the waiters ages to clear the plates from in front of us especially as they were not very busy, food was not very hot due to the plates being cold. The restaurant had no decorations of any description on the tables, I was not expecting Christmas decorations. But some candles or flowers etc would break up the blandness of the restaurant. Shame as we have always enjoyed this restaurant in the past.

I had took my daughter to Memsaab as a treat lunch in the middle of our shopping day. I've have been numerous times in the evening but never for lunch and my daughter had never been. The service was fantastic and the food looked and tasted amazing. I will definitely visit again for lunch and would highly recommend it as a place to dine. My 15 year old daughter loved it too.

Lovely food at Memsaab in a nice atmosphere with great service. My favourite part of the evening was listening to the pianist while we waited to be seated. He is amazing!

Food was really nice and the service was excellent at Memsaab!

Memsaab is very good for lunch with the girls!

The atmosphere was great, good food, looked after really well. Will definitely recommend friends and family.

We had a very enjoyable evening at Memsaab Leicester. All of the dishes were well presented and extremely tasty. Two for one cocktails was a nice touch too!

The best indian restaurant we have visited. Looking forward to returning soon.

Lovely restaurant, excellent service and food. Will definitely go again.

The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food was really nice

Excellent meal and ambiance. Relaxed and chilled dining experience. Not the cheapest but good value.

I regular dine at Memsaab Leicester, so I recommended it to my colleagues. On arrival me and my colleagues (10 in total) were greeted by friendly staff. The waiter was very pleasant he took our order for drinks and then the two course meal. The starters were served and we all enjoyed them as the presentation was superb and they were delicious. Five minutes later our main course was served, again lovely presentation, the temperature, strength and taste of the curries was perfect and the portions were sufficient for lunch. My colleagues stated that they would definitely visit again with family and friends. Thank you Roopal

I must say, I think this was the best Indian meal we have tried! Lovely family ran restaurant and great service, would highly recommend MemSaab.

Memsaab is a fantastic restaurant, staff were lovely, food options were great especially as I'm vegetarian! Definitely going there again!

Everything was great at MemSaab in Leicester and enjoyed by all of the party. We had to bring the booking forward by 30 minutes and we were in a real rush to be in and out but when we explained this to the staff they accommodated us perfectly. Couldn't have been better.

We found that the whole experience dining at memsaab on Monday lunch time excellent and would definitely return again.

Very disappointing. The food was no better than any 'ordinary' indian restaurant. I took overseas guests there and asked them to dress "casual smart" in accordance with the restaurant's published standard but quite a few of the other diners were wearing jeans and some were even wearing shorts, T-shirts and flipflops, a far cry from what I was expecting! The restaurant was also very noisy and it was difficult to carry on conversation. All in all a disappointing dining experience.

Gorgeous restaurant, serving great food with very pleasant service. Highly recommended.

Superb food and service and at great value - they were busy and told us we might have to wait - rather that than just be left - we werent in a rush anyway.

Ws had a wonderful evening, the staff were so friendly and kept wishing us happy anniversay. We had a wonderful meal with a few suprises,we would like to thank everone at the Memsab for making our day so memerable

    Fantastic food and excellent service

Service was absolutely fantastic and the food was of excellent quality and presented well. Atmosphere was pleasant and overall would recommend to everyone. Thank You x

The food was lovely, staff were helpful and overall an enjoyable evening. We will dine there again.

There where 12 of us, my birthday celebration...it was just wonderful, eveything from going in to coming out...the magician who came to our table was fab...he really made us laugh and finished a wonderful night off for us...we will be going again sometime in the future...Thankyou Mem-saab, thanks to all the staff. Great food with ambience to match. Entertainment provided also with a magician was a welcome addition. Only down side is slightly expensive and limited toilets for the size of restaurant.

Booked for our parents anniversary lunch. The staff were really friendly and pulled out all the stops and gave them dessert on the house too.

Excellent food and brilliant service - all staff were very attentive, friendly and prompt

This is our second visit still lovely place to eat out!!

Lovely meal, great service, reasonably priced!!

The £6.95 speedy lunch menu is incredible value for money. The food was delicious, as good if not better than other Indian restaurants where the starter alone would cost the same as the whole meal. Drinks quite expensive, cost us twice as much for the drinks as it did the meal, but I suppose that is where the money is made up. Still a fantastic lunch, great service clean modern restaurant - we will be back for more....

Didn't know what to expect, I had seen it was a little more expensive than the norm but was not disapointed. Was worth every penny and the chicken tikka was awesome

The comfortable sofas provide the perfect perch for sipping champagne and cocktails before heading into the main restaurant. With clean, minimal lines and modern décor, MemSaab  is effortlessly chic whilst maintaining a link to the buildings heritage  with the original brickwork of the ancient building that the restaurant is housed within being exposed to add warmth.
