Winner’s of the “Best Modern English Award” 2010, Leeds Seventeen restaurant in Alwoodley is a worthwhile 15 minute drive from Leeds city centre. A family run business with proud Yorkshire roots, Leeds Seventeen source all their produce from suppliers in the county and have a strong focus on the local community. As well as the 60-seater restaurant there is a large function venue, suitable for parties of 5 to 250 and Leeds 17 welcome any suggestions for changes to their menu or offering to make for a great event.
As you enter Leeds Seventeen, choose between going straight through into the wood-floored dining room or enjoying a pre-meal drink in one of the comfy leather sofas and bar seating areas, perusing the award winning menu and specials blackboards.
Head chef, Wayne Brimicombe, has worked with both Gary Rhodes and Jean Christophe Novellis and has developed his skills over a career spanning 30 years. Pictured within the photo gallery above is the perfect starter of Pan-fried Wood pigeon on a salad bed with roasted beetroot, seared orange and pine nuts. The Cannon of Lamb, also pictured, embodies everything about Leeds Seventeen, moist and perfectly seared tender lamb with a balsamic and garlic jus perfectly washed down with one of the fine red wines on the extensive wine list. Leeds Seventeen restaurant promises a true taste of Yorkshire in the suburbs of Leeds.
