Las Iguanas Nottingham is located on the edge of Market Square on a street lined with popular drinking and dining venues such as Fat Cat, Ask and Tonic. Only a short walk from Nottingham’s nightlife hub it is the perfect place to enjoy as a standalone evening or as a starting point for a night out.

Las Iguanas is a large chain restaurant which originally started in Bristol back in 1991. Since then it is has spread like wild fire due to the popularity of its Latin style food and drink and the lively atmosphere of its many venues.

Las Iguanas Nottingham features an al fresco dining area at the front of the restaurant, perfect for enjoying a lazy lunch on sunny days or people watching in the evening. It is an extremely versatile restaurant, with the scope to satisfy couples looking for an intimate meal or a large celebration. The food follows the same suit as the restaurant décor with a vast selection of fresh and vibrant dishes on offer.

The restaurant itself is decorated in vibrant colours with a selection of comfortable chairs, sofas and booths. This venue also benefits from having a separate lounge area where you can sit and enjoy a bar food menu or revel in the fantastic two-for-one cocktail offers that Las Iguanas run daily. Favourites include Cherry Fizz, a sweet mixture of cherry brandy, gin, elderflower cordial, cranberry juice and lemon juice.

On the menu you will find Latin cuisines packed with flavour and character. Stand out dishes include the delicious Big Burrito. This dish is a mammoth burrito, stuffed for of your choice of fillings and topped with homemade salsa, sour cream and guacamole.  It comes served with curly fries and a crisp salad and despite its size, you will find yourself finishing every last bit off! Other favourites include the creamy Brazilian dish of Xinxim chicken and the Beef Cuban sandwich.

Overall

Whenever we can't decide where to go for food we always visit Las Iguanas! The cocktails are really nice (and usually two for one) and I usually have the Moqueca or the XinXim chicken. Tasty and affordable!

Overall

didn't enjoy this experience one bit, disinterested staff, and distinctly average food. On top of that it took 35 mins in-between starter and main. Manager did apologise and took 10% of the bill which took away the sour taste!
