Gino’s Pear Tree is a beautiful 18^th century inn that has been lovingly restored into a chic Italian restaurant and is situated in the heart of the National Forest. It is a family-run affair, with owner Gino and his sons Riccardo, Gianni and Marco, all involved to ensure that diners have a wonderful time.

Gino’s is an incredibly flexible venue that not only provides a beautiful dining room decorated in neutrals and flashes of red but also offer a relaxing lounge area and al-fresco dining areas that are ideal for a lazy lunch or relaxed dinner during the summer months. If you decide to host a party at Gino’s you are in for a real treat, particularly if you opt for a garden party as you will be supplied with your own pizza Chef who will make authentic Italian pizzas right in front of your eyes.

The menu is packed with dishes that combines locally sourced produce and years of experience to produce beautiful and memorable dishes. Stand-out dishes include the Filetto alla Saltinbocca; tender fillet of pork topped with Parma ham and fresh sage cooked in a marsala red wine and the Cervo alla Boscese; locally reared venison fillet wrapped in pancetta pan seared in a red wine and juniper berry jus.

With an extremely reasonable set lunch option there is no reason why any diner can't enjoy the absolute quality of the cuisine and share in the pleasant and friendly surroundings.

Overall

We are spoilt for choices in our area but our favourite is Gino's. Lovely food and really nice staff. Never ever leave disappointed and keep on coming back month after month. Lovely. Thank you.

Great meal for two for a significant birthday. We pushed the boat out with 3 courses and prosecco. Food well cooked and presented. Difficult to choose. Service prompt and pleasant after we'd ordered. Atmosphere lively but unobtrusive. Slightly pricy but good value and memorable! King garlic prawns to die for.

Gino’s delivers fantastic top quality food, with an authentic Italian twist. Gino and his son keep all the customers happy with friendly prompt service, and also with hard-hitting dishes such as the Fileto Nero. Pepper encrusted beef fillet on a bed of mushrooms, absolutely fantastic. Well worth every penny. Not sure I will be able to try any other dish as the fillet was supremely cooked with exquisite tastes. However, the more traditional dishes such as the pasta keep in with Italian lovers demands.
