Lovely atmosphere great price Sunday deal 50% off!! Although wouldn't recommend the Sunday lunch food was very bland pizza & burgers was great defiantly visit again we was quite a large table to serve but had to ask for cutlery and had to wait a while to catch attention of staff for the bill

Lovely at Fat Cat, bit noisy but that cant be helped when they are busy.

Unfortunately service was really slow for drinks and food. The staff member serving us was very friendly and apologetic for our long waits but the place looked understaffed for a Saturday evening.

Great service from China yet again, serving the whole family this time for our daughter's 18th Birthday celebrations. Great food, excellent value.

The food was great. The service was fab as always. We will be back again next week with family/friends :)

Fat Cat (Nottingham) is a lovely environment, food was great, good large portions and very good value for money. Cocktails were yummy! Very happy!

Excellent food and perfect for a Saturday lunch time - thanks!

    Great venue! Especially for students.

Really great food and lovely service. It was a little loud but that was just because of the busy Saturday night drinks. The staff were great although it seemed like they had too much work for the staff. They dealt with the business very well! Great place.

Went on a sunday and got the 50% deal which was anazing value for money! The food was good, super filling. We arrived a 10mins late for our booking but it wasn't a problem even though they were busy. However, we had to wait about 20/25 mins at the door, i think they may have been understaffed? Waiting for the food was about 40/45mins but we were told it would take that long due to it being busy, so it wasn't surprising. The waitress was quite stand offish, she just threw our menus on the table and walked off, and when we were ordering she looked very bemused and didn't offer us any options with the sides that come with the mains. However a lovely gentlemen sorted it all out for us so it wasnt to bad. Great deal, good food, service could be improved in areas.

Lovely food at a good price, with cheap cocktails!

Having eaten quite regularly on a Sunday with my husband, I decided to show my friends just how good the food, service & value is dining on a 50% off Sunday. There seemed to be a new waiter, foriegn speaking, who was too quick to remove items from the table without asking if the items were finished with. He really should ask if items are finishedv with, especially if food is still on the plate.

Really enjoyed the food, friendly staff.

Visited Fat Cats yesterday evening. Haven't eaten there for a very long time. Loved the refurbishment. Booked a table for my sisters birthday. Service was great, Kim was really friendly and helpful. Was a little too warm in the restaraunt which felt a little uncomfortable at first. Would go again.

After a mix up with email address a pre order form was requested, however when we arrived for our meal, there were some items not available on the menu so our waitress said just order again anything you like, which we did. There were 11 of us ordering and the food came all together which was very nice and very efficient I have no complaints about the food, service or anything else. Thank you Fat cats for starting our birthday weekend off :) Will definitely recommend you to anyone!

We were a large group of 14, table arrangement was rubbish hardly any room. Manager didn't seem overly bothered when we complained. Service was slow but food was surprisingly quite good and good value with it being 50% off. Drink prices good too.

Meal was great at Fat and we loved the drum stick cocktails!

The cocktails where lovely apart from the fact we had to wait for a while and food came all came out separate. We weren't happy with the food and in fact it had to be sent back a couple of times. The atmosphere was lovely and staff very kind!

Fat Cat Nottingham for some reason seems to get a bad rep however all my experiences have always been good. My boyfriend and I decided to have a spontaneous date night but didn't fancy spending a lot of money so we decided to head to Fat Cat. I should mention we are both students so we both get 50% off all food (an incredible discount!) We decided to share a starter of white bait, something I'd never had before which was very tasty and a generous portion. For mains I had a burger whilst my boyfriend had steak. Both were good, especially the steak. My burger had seasoning I wasn't crazy on but it was still tasty. Following that we decided to share a cheesecake, the waitress accidentally brought out two and we pointed out we'd only ordered one. To this she said we would only be charged for one. Service was not the fastest however from what we could see there were only two waitresses on and as it was a Saturday night they were pretty busy. Both girls were really really friendly and served us as soon as they could that we were more than happy to tip well.

Great atmosphere, food, service and tunes at Fat Cat. Excellent!

All good! Great value and nice tasting meal at Fat Cat.

Being vegetarian, I opted for the Moroccan tagine which was delicious and a good sized portion. Its nice to see something different on offer, other than the usual vegetarian options :) we shall definitely return soon.

The food was fine but the menu seemed a little limited from the last time we went. However, we will go back at some time in the future to Fat Cat.

Had a great night at Fat Cats, I was a bit dubious due to some other reviews but service was great and the food was good. My only criticism was that the menu was different from the online one and had to choose something else but overall good relaxing evening!

To start apparently we weren't expected but there was enough tables so that wasn't too bad a problem. The menu was not very extensive and the starters were a long time coming but the actual food was good. The cocktails were very expensive for what you actually got. It's probable we won't go there again for an evening meal but a daytime meal perhaps.

Once again we had a fantastic time at Fat Cat, nice food, great service just 1st class as always!

The menu at Fat Cat in Nottingham was different to the menu advertised. The food was OK but could be better.

A very nice meal at Fat Cat, cool surroundings and excellent value too!

Looking forward to coming back to Fat Cat Notts, it was excellent!

Great food and value in a buzzing atmosphere!

Booked for dinner and cocktails with friends before cinema. Great food, ambiance and service. 2 for 1 cocktails went down well. Will definitely book Fat Cat again.

Lovely meal and delicious cocktails! Difficult to talk due to live music, but overall a lovely evening.

The chili was very good at Fat Cat apart from being less spicy than my brother makes it. The cocktails are more and more disappointing however as there seems very little alcohol in them, which affects the taste.

Good food, good portion size. Very attentive Waiting staff. Would definitely go back.

Menu not as advertised. Food OK.

The portions were very generous and the quality of the food was excellent!

Great service, great iced tea, a bit dark and noisy for my taste.

Not been for a long while, but very good all round!

One of the best meals we have had, the atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious. Will definitely be going back again!

The food was lovely and good value. Service was slow but they were very busy and our waitress said they were short staffed, it did mean that we didn't have time for a desert as we were going to a show so that was a little disappointing. Would still recommend though.

A nice meal in a lively atmosphere, though sometimes difficult to enjoy conversations with the loud background music.

Excellent value set menu at Fat Cat in Nottingham and very good drinks offers too.

It had a really friendly atmosphere and you definitely got a lot for your money!

Really enjoyed our evening there, a large party of 30 in the back did not disturb us at the front of house, although it did slow the service down a bit, but the food was wonderful!

Very pleasent meal, good value, was a little dissapointed with the starter.
    Nice room ambience was warm.

A bit surprised when the 241 cocktails were brought as 2 each. Good value Ladies' Night menu. Food very tasty and well-presented. Staff welcoming and helpful.

    Very relaxed evening with friends.

Fat Cat is great place to eat quick food while out in a group. The food was above pub food though tasty with good service. Fat Cat make great cocktails as well, will be going back.

We had to wait a long time to be served a drink, but the food was nice and good value at two courses for £11.95. Would go again.

We had a very good meal last night.

Requested a booth downstairs. Restaurant had translated this to table upstairs by the window? Very poor! Food was lovely and the waiter/waitress lovely when you could actually get there attention! Football was being screened and there was no way to avoid the noise overpowering the meal! would have been useful to know they were screening the game when the booking was made!

Wonderful night. Staff very friendly. Food excellent.

Had the ladies night menu (2 for £10.95 or £11.95 including cocktail) and was excellent value. Not full menu but plenty to choose from and huge portions too! Atmosphere was buzzing and service from the ladies upstairs was excellent. Not been to FC for ages but would definitely return.

Great! fantastic value for money on the £10.95 two courses deal.

    Great pasta dish.

We all had a lovely time. It was the first time at Fat Cats for some of us and i can honestly say when i orgainse another meal out i will look at Fat Cats again.

Had a fantastic night, good food great company. The staff were very accomadating and attentive.

As always good choice on mains, a little short of choice for starters and dessert. Very good value for money. Service great.

Great value for money thanks to the Ladies night special offer with good food. We all had a fantastic night.

Went on Thursday night which was ladies night: £9.95 for 2 courses and a free cocktail. Bargin. Would recommend.

A restaurant with lovely ambience but waitresses all seemed to be in a bad mood! The food was ok but we were in the restaurant for a total of 2 hours 20 minutes because service was so slow. A lovely place to have just drinks though as there was a good atmosphere.
