Fat Cat Leicester is a fantastic addition to Leicester night life and offers an upper-class bar and restaurant aimed at the more discerning customer looking for a good night out. Situated centrally on Belvoir Street in the centre of Leicester this venue offers fantastic Modern British cuisine in a light and airy dining space by day due to the roof windows, and a candle lit ambience by night.

Diners are welcomed by staff and will find a large seating area on entrance complete with booths for up to 8 people to the left hand side and a seating area through the centre of the floor space. To the rear is the bar area where you find an array of cocktails on offer as well as many draught lagers and mixers for your Gin and Tonic. Complete with a private lounge area with black leather sofas and an al fresco dining area Fat Cat Leicester is a very flexible venue and suits large group bookings as well as couples looking for a little more than just something to eat.

To attract diners Fat Cat also run a number of offers that prove to be very popular and bookings are a must. For midweek a fantastic 2 courses for £10.95 welcomes diners as well as pre-theatre options for arts lovers.

The restaurant was empty apart from me and my friend but the service was pleasant and the food was nice. The pudding I particularly wanted wasn't available which was rather disappointing.
