The Dining Room is in the heart of the market town of Ashbourne, just a half an hour drive West of Derby. This small yet perfectly formed restaurant attracts visitors from miles around who are searching for exquisite food produced using locally sourced organic ingredients and cooked by a double AA rosette awarded chef.
The restaurant is an incredibly intimate affair with only 6 tables and able to seat a maximum of 25 diners at a time. The dining room is cosy and the décor is kept neutral to keep the room from feeling fussy. As it is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Ashbourne, dating back to the 17th century, the original features, such as the low beams, have been lovingly restored and give the venue character and a personality.
The food on offer at the dining room is nothing less than spectacular. The Dining Room try to carry out all of their butchery on site and try to source all produce within a 35 mile radius. This venue is truly exceptional and well worth a detour.
