Located on Wellingborough Road just up from the Grosvenor shopping centre and Radio Northampton, Brabenec’s restaurant is run by brother and sister duo Matthew Taylor and Nicola Foley who have a wealth of catering experience between them. Launched in 2007 the venue prides itself on freshly prepared, no frills British cuisine.
The classic, neutral furnishings and comfortable dining area all combine to create a sophisticated atmosphere, ideal for intimate meals or larger parties. The restaurant is charming and soft lighting really enhances the relaxed mood. The restaurant is also available for small functions upon request
Matthew, in the kitchen, uses Seasonal produce daily at Brabenec’s to produce fantastic, classic dishes such as Beef Wellington, Slow Roasted Pork Belly with apple sauce. Fillet and Sirloin steaks are also available with a choice of accompanying sauces such as the classic Pepper sauce or the delicious Melting Stilton as well as a good variety of fish dishes. The menu undergoes a monthly change, which only carries over one or two absolute favourites on each update so there is always something new to experience at every visit.
With Nicola managing the front-of house; all diners can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, smooth service and superb food. The staff are friendly and know their products and produce and are able to offer good advice on menu and drinks choices.
