Go close up – Harts Restaurant Nottingham
Harts restaurant Nottingham recently won the accolade “Restaurant of the year”, presented at this year’s Nottingham Restaurant Awards ceremony. As ever, the competition was close with 42,000 votes being submitted amongst an impressive array of restaurants in Nottingham and surrounding areas… Naturally this got the team at Go dine thinking – “What are the ingredients behind the success of Harts Restaurant Nottingham”…
For 7 years now the busy 80 seat restaurant in Nottingham has been considered as one of the Nottingham restaurant scenes finest examples of what an up-market eatery should offer. The menus change on a regular basis and demonstrates a real hands on approach from the head chef Gareth Ward and his team who place great emphasis on simple but fantastic, fresh ingredients. On top of this the Harts restaurant wine list is excellent; constructed with the thought and experience of the restaurants founder Tim Hart.
Dig a little deeper and another ingredient required is the atmosphere and how a restaurant encases the experience that surrounds the food it serves, from arrival to departure. Again Harts restaurant scores highly here, offering relaxed comfortable seating in an environment ran by attentive staff who offer service of reamarkable standard.
Good food and good wine in surroundings that can be savoured is a one-liner that can be attributed to Harts Restaurant. However, it is testament to the team at Harts that they keep performing consistently as there are a plethora of restaurants in Nottingham who offer fine dining of a truly remarkable standard, which must make judging an increasingly difficult (but rewarding) challenge!
Congratulations to Harts Restaurant Nottingham and all the restaurants at this year’s awards for continuing to make the Nottingham restaurant scene something we can be proud of and let’s hope next year will also be as fiercely contested.
