I tend to like to give some constructive criticism but this time I have no issues at all. The food was lovely, the service was really friendly but super efficient. Everything was there when we wanted it and tasted lovely.

Every single course was delicious and elderflower pimms too! Bills is my favourite restaurant and I had a super evening with my best friend. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Thanks you!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyable food, atmosphere and pleasant staff

All good, the sharing meat starter had spare ribs and Bill's wine.

Had a great meal quick service as pre theatre meal.

Food was very good, the atmosphere was very pleasing, the waiters were very courteous even though it was Valentines day and they were very busy, will definitely be going again.

I had a delicious butter nut squash casserole with kale but my partners gnocchi was not so good, stodgy with little taste or colour.
Puddings delicious and standard price. Drinks expensive.
A good place to eat pre theatre. Helpful, smiley staff.

Excellent service we had three young children with us and the food was good value

Me and a friend were going to choose from the 2 course pre-theatre menu which looked nice, but limited choice. We therefore ate from the main menu. The flat iron steak and chips was really tasty. My friend had the chicken caesar salad and the portion was huge. Both had banana and honeycomb cheesecake with ice cream. Was ok but the cheesecake base and honeycomb pieces were quite hard. Tasted nice though. Had 2 drinks each and the overall cost was £62. Thought it was good value. The staff are always nice and the atmosphere is quite chilled. Would recommend and will definitely go there again.

I had mushroom soup delicious with fresh wild mushrooms. Followed by chocolate brownie and icecream generous portions. Americano coffee good flavour and the prosecco was served nicely chilled.

We came for breakfast on a Saturday morning, friendly welcome, we could choose our table. Very quiet for a Saturday morning we thought but staff were helpful and friendly, food good and we really enjoyed it.

Reasonable choice of food including vegan. Good for pre theatre!

Excellent staff and service, food was lovely and fresh... pre theatre menu excellent value.

Very nice environment, felt warm and welcoming. The food was good, but there is always room for improvement I guess.

Fantastic staff, so welcoming and friendly. Lovely food topped off with a free glass of prosecco because it was my birthday. Xx

Food was really great! Shame about the doughnuts!

This was an excellent all round experience possibly one of the best meals I've had in Sheffield. Service is always extremely attentive and friendly. I couldn't recommend this restaurant high enough. Fantastic.

Superb meal. Second time at Bills and we will definitely be going again.

    Loved it !

    Great venue, relaxed atmosphere.

Varied menu to suit a wide range of tastes. Food intolerances catered for too.

Nice meal. Portions could be bigger.

Food mostly Ok. Sharing platter expensive and tasteless. Drinks expensive but still enjoy eating here.

    A very pleasant pre-theatre meal at Bill's.

A very quick visit before the Theatre so only had a short time but the food was excellent! Fish finger sandwich was a revalation and my husband said his burger was the best he'd had in a long while! We'll definitely be back. With hopefully more time to enjoy the experience

Lovely atmosphere at Bill's, good food and good wine. Fabulous experience!

Enjoyed our meal there, service was good lovely locations easy to get there. Will go there again

Fantastic meal have to say our waiter was brilliant which always helps. The food was great and the service outstanding. Will definitely return!

Really interesting restaurant, quirky, bustling, with unusual decoration. Menu has lots of veggie and vegan choices. Nice cocktail menu. Service excellent. Enjoyed our pre-theatre meal.

Great meal and great service at Bill's.

Fantastic. A lovely dining experience from start to finish!

It was a great experience. Lovely staff with a warm welcome & great food!

Thank you, we will be back.

    Good Food and Great Service

Very good value meal. Excellent helpful staff.

Fantastic set menu. Good range of food at a very good price. Sea Bass was very tasty as was the treacle tart. My son enjoyed the chicken skewers and loved the cinnamon donuts desert.

Me and my friend both had food poisoning from this. We had different food but the result was the same, a night in the bathroom very unhappy.

Lovely food! Fabulous service, excellent atmosphere. Good value for money on the set menu. Fabulous!

We say…

Serving food from breakfast through to dinner, Bill’s Restaurant Sheffield is situated a stone's throw away from the Peace Gardens; a great central location that's perfect for visitors to the city who are staying in the main hotels such as the Novotel and the Mercure, as well as locals who are simply after great food in a stylish setting. A short walk from the Crucible Theatre and with a set menu available until 7pm, it's a great pre-theatre choice. If you're looking to take your time - maybe over a lazy brunch or a lingering evening meal - Bill's is also the ideal place to catch up with friends and family whilst enjoying delicious food.

Bill’s prides itself on being a place for everyone: inside, there are larger seating areas for groups and cosy booths for two. The interior of Bill's is stylish but relaxed, with leather seating and industrial features, plus accents of vibrant colour that produce a retro feel. With an array of quirky lampshades, handwritten blackboards and candles, it's a fun and pleasant setting to spend time with loved ones.

The menu offers food from breakfast through to dinner, combining traditional dishes with exciting twists: think homely and traditional but always modern and fresh. To start, you can choose between dishes such as the crumbed halloumi sticks with lemon garlic mayo and pickled red onions and the crispy calamari with garlic and parsley, served with tartare sauce and red pepper tapenade. For mains, the slow-cooked barbecue-style pork ribs with sweet potato mash, barbecue beans and creamy coleslaw is a surefire favourite, whilst there's no shortage of vegetarian options: the roasted aubergine and chickpea dhal is always a tasty choice.

Make sure you leave room for dessert: an array of American-style desserts are served, including the popular warm mini cinnamon doughnuts and the lemon meringue pie cheesecake. For those with children, a kid’s menu is also offered which serves smaller versions of Bill’s favourites, such as mac and cheese, alongside some added extras that kids are sure to love. Alongside your meal you can enjoy a selection of wines and traditional cocktails, plus a variety of juices and smoothies. Bill’s really does have something for everyone!

Whether you’re eating out with the whole family before a show, heading to breakfast with friends or meeting for a business lunch, Bill’s Sheffield is a great place to enjoy food and time spent together.
