Situated in Sheffield’s restaurant heaven, otherwise known as Leopold Square, Aagrah Sheffield has maintained its nationwide reputation for serving the best in Kashmiri cuisine. Wide steps lead down to the entrance of Aagrah and diners are greeted by staff in the comfortable reception area where you are welcome to enjoy a pre-meal drink and check out the fresh fish counter as well as perusing the wide and tantalising menu.

It is in the House Specialities that the Aagrah restaurant comes into its own, with its authentic and award winning choices. The Hyderabadi dishes are distinctly rich with tangy spices, green coriander, fresh cream, yoghurt, tomatoes, garlic and ginger in bay leaf juices, cardamom and cloves, with either chicken, lamb or King prawn. Equally as enticing but hotter, the Achar dishes are cooked with fresh tomatoes, onion, green chillis, fresh garlic, coriander, methi seeds, aniseed, mustard seeds, ginger and yoghurt gently simmered in bay leaf juices and come with chicken, lamb, King prawn or Monkfish. With such an array of ingredients delicately infusing every offering so carefully prepared by the excellently trained and experienced kitchen staff, whatever you choose is sure to be a winner.
