Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst retaining a certain respect for the diner. Service was excellent as was the food. All in all, a very pleasant experience I would gladly repeat.

A small country hotel restaurant with a welcoming service. Excellent pre theatre meal area to consider - the menu and have pre meal drinks. Quiet restaurant however if busy tables would be very close together. Early bird meal is excellent value and you are not treated differently - thus getting excellent service. Would recommend for a special meal.

Opted for the Early Evening menu. Excellent value and the food was top notch. Service was to a very high standard, both bar and waiting staff very personable. I would recommend a trip to Cockliffe if you are looking to try something different outside of the city centre.

Stunning restaurant and the grounds are heavenly. The food was very good and I would certainly recommend as a dining experience, particuarly if you enjoy eating out of the city centre.
