108 Grill is the in-house restaurant at the Alea Casino in Nottingham city centre. Situated on Upper Parliament Street, right next to the Curry Lounge, the 108 Grill has been attracting diners for years regardless of whether they fancy a flutter in the casino or not.

The restaurant is chic and trendy and is a hotspot within the casino for those looking for a bite to eat in the stylish surroundings of the Grill. The décor is colourful and playful with a seductive edge thanks to cleverly executed mood-lighting. Seating over 100 covers at any one time, the restaurant is vast and has an intoxicatingly fun atmosphere that invites laughter and conversation. For larger groups, 108 Grill provides the ideal all-in-one package with plenty of space for dining and the evening’s entertainment just steps away. For couples, the mood lighting and intimate corners provide a sultry background whilst the casino provides an element of glamorous fun for after dinner.

For those looking for a drink before or after dinner, the in-house bar at Alea, aptly named ‘The Hidden Bar’, mimics the décor in the restaurant and serves a selection of quality, premium drinks ranging from exceptional wines, draughts and expertly mixed cocktails.

The 108 Grill offers hearty British cuisine with a few European influences thrown in for good measure and the team go to great lengths to ensure that the quality of their food matches the surroundings. You can expect to enjoy dishes such as 28 day-aged Derbyshire sirloin steak served with mushrooms, onion rings, hand cut chips and a beef tomato; Asian duck served with a sweet soy and plum sauce on a bed of baby bok choy with pont-neuf potatoes; and spinach and ricotta penne served with garlic ciabatta. An extensive bar menu is also available for those who are looking for something lighter and for those who are planning to host a special event, the Alea set menu is a fantastic choice as it incorporates drinks, a free bet and a meal into one value for money price.

If you are looking for an all-in one evening of dining, drinking and maybe a little gambling if you’re feeling lucky then 108 Grill at the Alea Casino Nottingham is the perfect venue for you. Combining chic and playful, sophisticated and exciting, you are sure to have a night to remember.

Overall

We were kept waiting for quite a while after our table should have been ready and the table we were on had high stools which was not the most comfortable. They had also run out of a couple of dishes, although they did give us a free drink each to apologise for both issues. We were on a group night out so the casino/music ambiance was great for us, although may have been noisy for some. The food was fine - nothing exceptional but no glaring errors either. It was good value as booked on a special offer including food/drink/casino credit. A really fun night!
