108 Grill is the in-house restaurant at the Alea Casino in Nottingham city centre. Situated on Upper Parliament Street, right next to the Curry Lounge, the 108 Grill has been attracting diners for years regardless of whether they fancy a flutter in the casino or not.
The restaurant is chic and trendy and is a hotspot within the casino for those looking for a bite to eat in the stylish surroundings of the Grill. The décor is colourful and playful with a seductive edge thanks to cleverly executed mood-lighting. Seating over 100 covers at any one time, the restaurant is vast and has an intoxicatingly fun atmosphere that invites laughter and conversation. We were kept waiting for quite a while after our table should have been ready and the table we were on had high stools which was not the most comfortable. They had also run out of a couple of dishes, although they did give us a free drink each to apologise for both issues.
We were on a group night out so the casino/music ambiance was great for us, although may have been noisy for some.
The food was fine - nothing exceptional but no glaring errors either.
It was good value as booked on a special offer including food/drink/casino credit.

Food was and hot, and nicely presented, portion size was good. We had the set menue which I thought was too limited but overall what we had was well cooked and enjoyable.The only down side we thought,was the music that was playing was too loud needs turning down.

108 Grill was a bit of a mixed bag! The service was enthusiastic, but not particularly effective; and the wine menu was a little limited. The food however, was of good quality and the portions were more than generous. Not sure if it was enough to warrant a return visit though!

Starter was great. Mains were ok however the order was brought out wrong and when it was corrected it was clear they had just changed the meats from plate to plate which put me off my steak slightly as I didn't like the thought of kangaroo meat..overall would go again 100%

this was a great venue and we definately plan to go again, the only downside was certain bar staff did not appear to know what she was doing. and although not many waiting to be served it took a while to get served. but aware this could be for many reasons.

Fantastic value food in a really stunning restaurant. The dining area is very attractive and the moody ligthing created a romantic atmosphere. Would highly recommend and believe 108 Grill is probably the best value restaurant in Nottingham we have been to!
